Daily Law: If you're on the false path, get off. Find energy in rebellion.
Growing up I played basketball year-round because in my household sports wasn't optional. I chose basketball because I hated football and baseball, and for the most part I enjoyed hooping as much as my spirit allowed me to. The problem was I didn't have a true passion for it, so I never practiced it to be the best. I just made sure I was good enough to be valuable to my team. And because that was my mentality towards basketball for so long, and it worked, I guess I carried it into the rest of my life as well. I won't write the entire autobiography right here, but maybe if I could have put my focus elsewhere I would have dove deeper into my interests in music, anime, or writing. But I don't like to waste time wishing the past was different. Instead, I'll focus on what I can do today to realize the potential I have in those other interests.
